 
TAHLEQUAH, OK -- Nick
Cheater was born
September 14, 1961, in Tahlequah, to William
and Emma (Christie) Cheater. He left this
world on June 16, 2018, at the age of 56
years, 9 months and 4 days. Nick attended Tenkiller Elementary and was a student at Sequoyah High School (Sr. 1979). He was a certified mechanic by trade earning his certification at the Bill Willis Skill Center. He also worked for Greenleaf Nursery for 15 years. In his spare time he enjoyed being outdoors hunting and fishing or watching car races. Nick was preceded in death by his parents, William and Emma Cheater; a sister, Maxine Cheater Washington (Seq.Fresh.1968); and an infant daughter. He leaves behind his 6 children, Anna and Derrick of Checotah, Nick Jr., Billy, Felicia, and Jenny all of Stilwell; four siblings: Wilma Cheater Bohlken (Seq. Class of 1977) of Wichita, Kansas, Marquita Cheater of Tahlequah, Pearlene Cheater Flute (Seq. Class of 1968) of Tahlequah, and Dale Cheater of Stilwell, eight grandchildren; many nieces, nephews; his special friends, Zachary Adair and James Davis; as well as many extended family members and friends. |
