Got up after a good nights sleep, had a light breakfast and then a leisurely drive through eastern Oklahoma's fall colors; we were on our way to Kenwood.

    Got to the picnic at 10 AM and found Chuck Deerinwater behind the community center, cooking hog meat in a big black kettle. He gave us a quick update on the game since we left early.

     Soon others began to arrive and we got into the business of the day: visiting, telling stories and a little gossip.
