Lena  Williams  Gray
Sequoyah Student 1930s

     Lena Williams Gray  (Seq-1930s), 78, daughter of the late Eastmon and Elsie (Sexton) Williams was born September 6, 1918 in Tushka. She died November 18, 1996 in Tulsa.

     She attended school at Sequoyah. She married Haskell R.D. Gray in Atoka in 1937. She was an  American Indian of the Choctaw Nation and a member of the Chickasaw Senior Citizens Center of Tishomingo. She was a  member of the Ravia Church of God.

Lena was preceded in death by her husband; Haskell R.D. Gray in 1987 and son, John Charles Gray.

     Survivors include two sons, Joe Luther Gray of Mannsville and Garvin R.D. Gary of Tishomingo; five daughters,  Betty Louise Senterfilt of Garland, Texas, Joyce Evelyn Standifer of Tulsa, Sharon Ann Anzaldua of Tishomingo, Judy Kay Smith of Ravia, and Carolyn Jean Needham of Coleman, 21 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
