Joyce  Whitecrow  Perry
Sequoyah  High School Student ~ 1950s

Joyce Whitecrow Perry  (Seq. ~ early 1950s), was born in Miami, OK, September 3, 1934, and passed away in her home in Miami on May 25, 2007. She was preceded in death by her husband Bill Perry  (Nov. 2002) (Seq. ~ early 1950s)   and son Casey Perry.

     Surviving are her sons, Allen Perry, Michael Perry, Jeff Perry, Scott Perry, Steven Perry, also daughters Toni Raishart, Lisa Spano, Ginger Keys, and Dolly Pewitt, all of the Miami area. 

     Other family members are sisters Zona Pease, Sally Whitecrow Ollis  (Seq. Clas '56), Linda Whitecrow  (Seq. ~ 7th grd -1958), Kathy Whitecrow, Debbie Ingram and brothers Jay Whitecrow  (Seq. ~ Hi-school @ 1955) and Sidney Whitecrow  (Seq. ~ Jr. 1959) .

One brother, Gab Whitecrow, preceded her in death.

     Joyce served two terms as a member of the Seneca-Cayuga Tribal Business Committee, worked at the IHS Indian Clinic in Miami for a number of years before retiring. Her greatest achievements were being a devoted wife, loving mother, and the center of attention to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

Interment was in Council House Church cemetery, northeast of Grove, Oklahoma.
