A letter I received from Mona Wacoche:

My dad,  Johnson Wacoche , died Oct 6, 2006.  He was 89 years and he was a former employee at Sequoyah.  He worked there in the late 70's or early 80's.  I can't really remember the years.  He was a custodian there.  They didn't put that down on his obituary though.

As long as I can remember he and my mom followed Sequoyah football and basketball.  I can remember the many times they would come and pick us (Wacoche kids) up at Seneca Indian School and take us to a Sequoyah football game or some other kind of event that was going on before they would ever take us home.

A lot of the older alumni knew my dad just because of his fondness for Sequoyah sports. Several years ago the booster club honored my mom and dad for their support.

I would like to see his name appear on your website as he really enjoyed Sequoyah sports.
