  HENRYETTA, Ok -- Juanita Sumka ,
a Henryetta resident passed away on December 9, 2005 in Henryetta,
Okla. at the age of 49. Born March 1, 1956 in Henryetta, to Benjamin
and Lucille (Smith) Sumka.
Juanita worked as a nurse’s aid and attended the Yardeka Indian Baptist Church. Juanita attended Sequoyah High School in Tahlequah her freshman and sophomore years (1972 & 73).
Her parents, brother Benjamin and a niece LaDonna Sumka precede her in death.
Survived by: Daughter: Marcella Marks of Oklahoma City, 2 Sons:
Cheyenne Marks of Tulsa, Bradley Sumka of Germany, 2 Grandchildren, 3
Brothers: Marvin Sumka (Seq. Soph. '74) of Glenpool, Bill Sumka of Tulsa, Martin Sumka of Henryetta, 4 Sisters: Diane Grayson of Stilwell, Doris Sumka (Seq. Sr '68) of Henryetta, Abby Sumka Prentiss (Seq. Sr.'69) of Okmulgee, Jeanetta Sumka Tiger (Seq.Cls'72) of Henryetta.
Wake service will be 6:00 to 8:00 Sunday, December 11th at the Rogers
Chapel. Services 2:00pm, Monday December 12th at the Rogers Chapel.
Interment will follow at the Sumka Family Cemetery under the direction
of the Rogers Funeral Home.
