OKEMAH, OK -- Funeral services for Donnita DeAnn Severs were Wednesday, January 20, 2015 at the High Spring Baptist Church south of Okemah. Interment followed in the High Spring Cemetery.
Donnita DeAnn Severs was born July 1, 1990 in Tulsa to Larry Lecuyer and Rachael Ann Severs. She passed away Saturday, January 16, 2016 in Okmulgee at the age of 25.
Donnita was a resident of Bristow, Okla. She was a Class of 2008 graduate of Sequoyah High School and later received her Associate’s Degree from the College of Muskogee Nation. Donnita enjoyed participating in the Sand Creek Stomp Grounds. She loved spending time with her boyfriend Anthony Cargil (Seq.Class of 2008) and her three children, Tvpvsanv, Cvstvle and Tvfolope Cargil. She worked as an intake specialist for the Muskogee Creek Nation employment job and training department.
She is preceded in death by her mother, one brother and two children.
Survivors include her boyfriend, Anthony Cargil of Bristow; her three children, Tvpvsanv, Cvstvle and Tvfolope Cargil of the home in Bristow; five brothers, Kyle Severs of Wewoka, Lincoln Newton, Jr. of Tulsa, Seth Newton (Seq.Soph 2009) of Okemah, Stoney Newton of Perkins and Cody Little of Okemah; two sisters, Precious Severs of Okemah and Heather Little of Okemah; and grandparents, Junior and Lizzie Severs of Okemah and Bobby and Janet Cargil of Bristow.
Serving as pallbearers were: Mitch Jack, Lewis Green, Kirby Green, Christopher Butler, Curtis Cargil and Terrell Wright, Jr. Honorary bearers were: Junior Severs, Bobby Cargil, Robert Severs and Bobby Joe Cargil.
Services were under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Okemah and officiated by Rev. Jesse Wind and Rev. Don Tiger.
