OK – Funeral services
for Darci Lynn Scraper
(Seq.Class of 2008),
age 20, will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at the Sequoyah
High School Gym with Pastor Ron Venters
and Pastor Todd Dowty officiating. A Wake service will be held for
Darci at Elm Tree Baptist Church with Mike Procell and Reverend D.J. McCarter
officiating on Tuesday, October 20th, 2009 from 2:00 PM until midnight.
Services have been entrusted to Hart Funeral Home of Tahlequah.
Serving as pallbearers for Darci are Lawrence
Scraper (Seq. Cls '08),
Terence Scraper, Chad Green, Christopher Green, Chase Green, and Jay Holcomb.
Honorary pallbearers will be Isaac Pedrick, Charles Green, Michael Fields,
Herbert Gonzales, Wayne Revelle, and Trey Kimble. Darci’s flowergirls
are Kate Scott, Kayli Gonzales, Alissa Riddle, and Anna Walker.
Darci Lynn Scraper was born on July 27, 1989 in Tahlequah,
OK the daughter of Juanita Kristene Scraper and Travis Wolf. Darci spent
her entire lifetime in the Tahlequah area and was a graduate of Sequoyah
High School . Darci attended school at Woodall, Tahlequah
and most recently was attending NSU, where she was studying business administration.
She was employed at Sam and Ella’s Chicken Palace, where she served as
hostess and waitress.
When she wasn’t working or attending class, Darci loved
a day spent shopping, or getting her hair and nails done. She spent
countless hours on her “My Space” page trading photos and stories with
her family and friends. She loved to hang out with her family and
friends and possessed the gift of making people laugh. She was a
Christian by faith and a member of the Elm Tree Baptist Church.
Darci was called home to her Lord and Savior on Wednesday,
October 14, 2009 in a tragic accident.
Darci always encouraged everyone around her to live life to the fullest.
She will be greatly missed by her many friends and family who knew the
magic of her smile.
Darci is preceded in death by her Aunt Loretta Scrapper and her Uncle
Tommy Scrapper.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving
mother, Kristene of the home; her father, Travis Wolf of Stilwell, OK;
and her grandparents, Marion and Junior Scraper of Welling, OK, Eda Mae
Scraper of Welling, OK, and Walter and Mary Jane Wolf of Stilwell, OK.
Her aunts and uncles include Charles and Cheryl Green of Stilwell, OK,
Herbert and Shirlene Gonzales of Welling, OK, Lawrence and wife Krissa
Scraper of Stilwell, OK, and Gregory Scraper(Seq.Cls
'88) and wife Brandi of Westville, OK. Darci’s adored
three sisters are Heather Nicole Goodrich of Tahlequah, OK, Sherniece Scraper
of Tahlequah, OK, and Janisha Wolfe of Stilwell, OK. She leaves her
much loved cousins, Chad Green, Christopher Green, Chase Green, Kristi
Gonzales, Keli Gonzales, Kayli Gonzales, Lawrence Scraper Jr., Terence
Scraper, Jay Holcomb, Shane and Colby of Surprise, AZ, and Brice, Max,
and Jack Scraper of Westville, OK. She will also be missed by her
great cousin Isiah Green, her very close and dear friend Michael Fields
of Stilwell, OK as well as many friends and loved ones.
Those wishing to send an expression of sympathy are asked to consider
