Jeanne Sapp. Or "Mootah" to her many family and friends, was born on May 1st, 1975 in Tahlequah, OK, the daughter of Roma and Jackie (Colston) Sapp. She joined a family of three sisters and two brothers.

She attended Sequoyah High School (Seq. Student 1990s) , and was the quiet, thoughtful student in the back of the room. Not much to say but her eyes shone and there was always a big grin to accompany the sparkling eyes.

The past ten months of her life were spent with her companion, Johnny Cooper, who stood by her side, and kept house and cared for her family.

She had a wide variety of interests, she like swimming and volleyball. She enjoyed attending pow-wows, taking her daughter Jazzy to the creek, and watching Thunder basket ball games with her sisters and nephews. The occasional trip to the casino was fun and she liked tracking friends on "Facebook". Mootah liked going to the gospel sings and listening to the music. There was nothing better than a trip out in the countryside and a chance to eat out in a new restaurant. She enjoyed watching "Walking Dead"," Cops", and "Finding Bigfoot".

She had a really big heart, and believed everyone needed a chance to prove themselves for whatever reason. She would help anyone, regardless of knowing them or not. She loved her family, and adored her daughter! She thought she could do no wrong.

Her health began to fail her during the holidays and Mootah went home to the Lord on Thursday night, January 15th, 2015 at her home in Tahlequah with her loved ones by her side. Mootah was 39 years old. She will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her paternal grandmother, Inez Osage and Maternal grandmother, Sarah Colston, one Uncle Junior Sapp, and two aunts, Kathleen Osage and Luella Davidson.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving companion, Johnny Cooper of the home in Tahlequah, and her beloved daughter, Jazlyn Sapp of Tahlequah, OK.
