Otis  Dean  Roberts

Services for  Otis Dean Roberts  (Seq. 7th Grd 1959) , 57, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Craddock Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Raymond Lampkin officiating. Interment will follow at McAlister Cemetery. Wake services will be at 7 p.m. this evening at the funeral home.

Roberts was born Aug. 7, 1944, at Madill to Solomon and Edna Marris Roberts. He died Sept. 11, 2001, in Oklahoma City.

A lifelong resident of this area, he worked as a fork lift operator for Pepsi and was a member of Southside Baptist Church. He and Frances A. Sampson were married in Oklahoma City.

Survivors include his wife of the home; seven daughters, Carrie Wallace, Freda Roberts, Jan Roberts and Henrietta Sampson, Ardmore, Jodie Tunnell, Lone Grove, Charlotte Roberts, Phoenix, and Bonnie Belvin, Oklahoma City; two sons, Randall Roberts, Ardmore, and Manuel Shockley, New Mexico; four sisters, Eliza Thomas and Mary Bond, Ardmore, Lucretia Brown (Seq.Cls'67), Oklahoma City, and Norma Fulsom, Ada; three brothers, Emery (Seq.Cls '63) and Joseph Roberts (Seq.Cls '66), Ardmore, and Charles Fulsom, Ada; 30 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Helen Clark; and brother, Jimmy Roberts (Seq. Cls '65).

Bearers will be Curtis Ned, Albert Lewis, John Tunnell, Steven Shelley, Shannon Culley, Cardel Hornbeak, Kenny Stewart and Claud Davis. Honorary bearers are Junior and Jason Bond and Aaron, Danny and Reggie Thomas.
