Kimberly  Ann  Proctor
Sequoyah  High School  ~  Class of 1991

Funeral services for Kimberly Ann "Punkin" PROCTOR , 24 of Tahlequah, were held August 14, at Brush Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Larry PRITCHETT and Rev. Mariano ALVARADO officiating. Burial was in the Roundsprings Cemetery under the direction of Reed-Culver Funeral Home of Tahlequah.

     Pallbearers were Gene DANIEL, Sequoyah PRITCHETT, Yahola TIGER, Sam HORSECHIEF (Seq-emply), Ned FLYNN and Jerome FACTOR. Honorary pallbearers were Jim BERRYHILL, Tarpie YARGEE, DeWayne MCCARTER and Michael TIGER (Cls '91).

     Ms. PROCTOR was born October 8, 1973, in Claremore, Okla., the daughter of Janis PROCTOR STINNET and she died August 10, 1998, in Tahlequah. Ms. PROCTOR attended Jay and Westville elementary schools, and Sequoyah High School for three years, graduating in 1991.  Kimberly attended Northeastern State University from the fall of 1995 to the present, majoring in human resources development. In 1997 she was a contestant for the Miss Cherokee. She was a member of the Native American Student Association and was the chairperson for the N.S.U., N.A.S.A. mentoring program.

     Ms. PROCTOR is survived by one son, Thomas Zane of the home; her mother and father, Janis and Mark; two brothers Shaun and Jason; one aunt, Julie Proctor (Cls'92); one uncle Marvin; and a very special friend Rodrigo, all of Okla.
