Mary Louise Pritchett Bolin

TAHLEQUAH, Ok -- Mary Louise Pritchett Bolin (Seq. Class of 1969), of Welling, Oklahoma, was born, Monday, September 19, 1949 in Tahlequah, to Andy and Jennie Chunestudy Pritchett. Mary passed from this life to go home and be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at her home in Welling at the age of 60 years, 8 months and 21 days.
Mary worked for Green Leaf Nursery for many years. She was a member of the Blessed Hope Church and was baptized on September 20, 2009. She was a very loving mother, sister, aunt and great aunt! She spent most of her time spoiling her only daughter and nieces and nephews!
She enjoyed being outdoors fishing, camping, spending time at the lake, and looking for wild foods such as onions & mushrooms. She loved cooking, especially traditional cooking. She spent time at her church, singing gospel songs!
Mary enjoyed hanging around with her sister, Elsie. They did a lot together, like shopping, crawdad hunting and eating out. They laughed and cried together. Sometimes when Mary got happy and excited, she called her niece Dora, her "aunt." Mary never met a stranger, she loved everyone. Her favorite NFL football team was the Dallas Cowboys and baseball team was the New York Yankees.
She married Johnny Bolin in 1969 at Tahlequah and he precedes her in death. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Drew Pritchett (Seq Jr '81).
She is survived by one loving daughter, Regenia Tidwell & husband Clifton Tidwell of Tahlequah; sisters: Elsie Pritchett (Seq. Cls' 70) of Welling, Eliza Sanders of Tahlequah, Leola Girdner of Welling, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 pm Monday, June 14, 2010 at the Reed~Culver Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bill Holcomb officiating and assisted by Neal Dillard. Burial will follow in the Barber Cemetery, Welling, with Gary L. Sequichie, Sonny Sequichie, John Cheater, Justin Bailey, Steve Jones, Anthony Pritchett and Tony Stayathome serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Clifton Tidwell, Mark Dunn and Rodney Holcomb.
Viewing and visitation will be from Noon until 6:00 pm Sunday. A wake service will be held at 7:00 pm Sunday at the Dry Creek Community Building.
