Jeanetta EmmaRose Lee

   SAPULPA, Ok --  Jeanetta EmmaRose Lee Johnson  (Seq. @ 1968), was born Nov. 17, 1947, in Pawnee, Okla. to Jeff and Dorothy Watashe Lee. 

Jeanetta lived in Sapulpa most all of her life until she passed away into eternity on Wednesday, June 6, 2007, at her home in Sapulpa at the age of 59. 

She enjoyed listening to music and watching Native American movies and visiting with her family. 

She always loved to watch soap operas and cooking shows. Her favorite foods were black-eye peas, salt meat, fired potatoes, cakes and pies. She liked to drink pops, tea and coffee. 

Jeanetta liked to play bingo at the Sapulpa Indian Community Center or any event they would have at the center. 

She loved going to church when anyone would pick her up to go to church. She enjoyed watching her grandkids play outside when we would have cookouts. 

When friends came over she liked to talk for a while. When Aunt Susie would take care of Jeanetta, they would sit up late and talk about old things and tell stories. She loved having prayer services at her house and enjoyed family and friends. 

She was married to Wilbert Johnson in March of 1969. 

Survivors are her husband Wilbert Johnson of the home in Sapulpa; son Wilbert Johnson Jr. and wife of Broken Arrow; daughter Cheryl Lindsey and husband Chebonnie of the home; mother Dorothy Lee of Sapulpa; six grand-children and three step-grandchildren: Kyle Lindsey of Sapulpa, Alexis Lindsey of Sapulpa, Megan Lindsey of Sapulpa, Breanna Lindsey of Sapulpa, Bryce Cv'to Lindsey of Sapulpa, Angel Johnson of Broken Arrow, Vincent Johnson of Sapulpa, April Pacheco of Broken Arrow and Janet Pacheco of Broken Arrow; sisters Peggy Lee of Sapulpa and Janice Brown of Sapulpa; brothers Benny Lee (Seq. ~ Cls '69) of Tulsa and Tommy Lee (Seq. Fresh ~  '68) of Kellyville; and four nieces. 

Funeral services for Jeanetta have been set for 2 p.m. Saturday, June 9, 2007, in the Smith Funeral Chapel with the Revs. Billy Mayfield and Daniel Harjo officiating. 

A wake service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, June 8 in the family home. 

Interment will be in the Little Cussetah Cemetery. 

Serving as casketbearers will be Chebonnie Lindsey, Tommy Johnson Jr., Brien Johnson, Andrew Watashe, Randall Samuel and Darren Samuel.
