Rachel Dawn Gann Maxwell was born on Wednesday, January 24th, 1979 in Claremore, OK, the daughter of JC Gann and Judy (Patrick) Conley.
She grew up in the Tahlequah area, graduated from Sequoyah High School with the Class of 1998 and spent her life with those she loved, swimming at the river, camping, and spending time with the family she adored. Her mother was her best friend and confidant, and her children her best friends. She earned her living working in the food service industry at NSU, she loved the people and being around the college students.
When she wasn't working, she was with her children and her brothers and sisters, having a cookout, playing games, messing on her phone or better yet, shopping. She could spend hours on her phone shopping and playing games. She was fond of felines and her cat held a special place in her heart. Any time spent with her children was really special, they were her pride and joy.
A Christian by faith, she talked to the Lord every day. Her life ended all too soon on Wednesday, November 6th, 2019. She leaves her smile that she shared so freely with all those around her, and she will be missed. She was 40 years old.
She is preceded in death by her dad, JC Gann, and her granddaughter, Ka'Leigh Mabery.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children: Keisha Gann of Tahlequah, Kiara Mabery of Tahlequah, and Raheem Mabery also of Tahlequah. She leaves her mother, Judy Patrick-Conley of Tahlequah, three brothers: Michael Boydston of Tahlequah, James Boydston and wife Sherry of Coweta, Jason Frank Gann (Seq.Class of 1997) and wife Makisha of Salina and two sisters: Rhonda Stoneburner and husband Joe of Tahlequah and Michelle Boydston also of Tahlequah. She also leaves many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends and loved ones.
