Andrew “Andy” Foster

Funeral services for Seminole, Ok. native Andrew “Andy” Foster were held 2 p.m. Monday at Eisenhour’s Southeast Chapel followed by interment at Resthaven Cemetery.
A Wake service was held from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home.
Foster died Friday, May 4, 2001, at the age of 71.
He was born in Seminole on Jan. 7, 1930 to Etta Stewart and Aaron Foster.
Foster was a graduate of Sequoyah Indian School in Tahlequah. (Note: Andrew was in the 8th grade in 1947 and would have been in the Class of 1951 had he graduated.)
He was a career member of the U.S. Air Force, retiring after 27 years of service.
Foster was a member of the Angie Smith United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Mary. Andrew is survived by his wife, Loretta; four sons, Alvin, Kenneth, Darrel, and Adam; two stepsons, Steve Goat and Joe Goat; one stepdaughter, Johnnie Keel; two brothers Henry Foster (Seq-1st grade in '47 ~ left school @1955) and Robert "Bob" Foster (Seq-Cls'58) ; two sisters, Ramona Foster Sam (Seq-Cls'57) and Millie Foster Ned (Seq-3rd grade in '47 ~ left school @1954) ; and several grand-children and great-grandchildren.
