LELIA  BUTLER  BURNHAM  (Seq. ~ Class of 1936), was born November 15, 1916 at Hulbert, OK. to Robert and Charlotte (Paris) Butler, married Paul W. Burnham on October 10, 1941, and died Dec. 4, 2000 at the Community Hospital Lakeview, Eufaula, OK.

Services were Dec. 7 at the First United Methodist Church followed by burial in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Merritt Funeral Service.

     Survivors include two daughters, Charlotte Burnham of Norman and Francile Burnham of Eufaula; two sons and their wifes, W. R. (Bill) and Mary Ann Burnham of Eufaula and Paul Wayne amd Melody Burnham of Verdigris, OK; two sisters,  Ruby Butler Hornbuckle Seq-Cls '34)  of Cherokee, NC and Mary Helen Astin of Muskogee, OK;   a brother,  Lafollette Butler  (Seq-Cls '44) of Phoenix, AZ; nine grandchildren, Tracy Lynn Bennett, Paul Allen Burnham, Natalie Brooke Armstrong, Ashley Contreras, Gary Gann, Clay Gann, Shea Burnham and Rendt Burnham; and three great grandchildren, Kyla Bennett, Kelsey Bennett and Blake Allen Burnham.

She was preceded in death by her husband and two sisters,  Charlotte Butler Fenney (Seq-Cls '34)  and  Jaunita Butler  (Seq-Cls '37).
